For advanced exercisers only I have mixed feelings about this DVD. It is low impact to a certain extent (i.e. no jumping) but the many squats and lunges could easily hurt your knees, especially since there aren’t any modifications for those who aren’t as advanced. This workout is essentially a combination of HiiT intervals and strength exercises; the weighted portions are meant to be “rest” periods but to me they were more cardiovascular than the HiiTs themselves. Cardio No Kidding! Make no mistake, this video keeps you going! It kept my heartrate high for a solid half hour without feeling exhausted. Cardio Supersets: Not as heart-raising as I’d hoped. I really like this series of low impact workouts. Sometimes I just don’t want the higher impact and jumping and I feel like this series fits the bill.
