Is there a better way to work your body, burn calories and lose weight than to dance? “Pump it Up – The Ultimate Dance Workout” is a concept that mixes club dance with aerobic exercise to produce a fast, effective and enjoyable way of getting fit and burning that unwanted fat. The DVD is shot in the same location as the video and the workout is choreographed and presented by Deanne Berry, the tough disciplinarian who stars in the Eric Prydz video and hails from Australia where she taught aerobics classes before coming to the UK to carve her career as one of the most sought after dancers in pop videos, tours & TV appearances. She has put together an explosive 70 minute workout, with a warm up to start, 3 dance workouts and a chill out cool down which covers all the great moves from the video interspersed with loads of modern club moves to really pack a punch.

Modern classic Though I can no longer do classic strenuous aerobics, I love this video for the dance warm-up and the 20 minute dance routine that follows. You will sweat. It is not easy. It is more of a challenge than another beginning or dance aerobics workouts, and it’s not too tough on your knees. Deanne Berrry is a talented leader and I am sorry she hasn’t done more videos. The high energy dance routine is tough-/I am trying to master it in 5 minute increments ! Excellent cool down and tonics segments…

I love Deanne Berry and her crew and unlike some reviewers, there’s nothing about her I find “annoying”. I’ve been able to increase my usage of this workout video to a frequency of 1- 3 days/week. I alternate this with lower impact Richard Simmons “party off the pounds” DVD once or twice a…

A Must Have! I love this workout DVD! In fact I wake up in the morning all excited about doing the routines… again! Yes it’s that addictive. I personally love electronic music and therefore, this DVD is perfect – it has a lot of famous dance tracks that everyone loves. It’s divided into several sections, so you can always choose the ones if short on time:1) Warm up – about 8-10 minutes2) Dance Section – about 20 minutes3) High Energy – another 20 minutes4) Bums and…
