Very basic and non-technical The essential point of this book is that sedentary behavior is an adaptation that must be countered by adhering to a once-every-24-hour cycle of moderate exercise: in this case, indoor rowing. Form is Function Rowing machines are the almost perfect piece of equipment. Low impact, easy on the joints, scalable from a mellow to an extreme level of workload. BUT, as I look about the gym I’m amazed at the poor form, and potential injury, that people bring to the activity.
